This notice explains how Nick Kuh Consulting Ltd ("I", "me") uses personal information when you visit nickkuh.com, chat with me, or message me on WhatsApp. I'm the data controller. For questions or requests, message me on WhatsApp.
WhatsApp and Pepper, my AI assistant
My QR codes and the WhatsApp buttons on this site open a chat with Pepper, my AI assistant, on her own WhatsApp number. She says so in her first message. Her only job is to learn a little about you and your business and book a free 20-minute call with me.
What it keeps
- Your WhatsApp number and profile name.
- What you tell it: your name, your business, the outcome you'd like from AI and, if you give it, your email.
- The messages in your chat with Pepper, and which QR code or page you came from.
- Your call booking, which goes in my Google Calendar with a Google Meet link.
Why, and the lawful basis
You got in touch about my services, so I rely on legitimate interests: replying to you, arranging the call you asked for, and keeping a normal business record of who I've spoken to.
How long
- Messages are deleted after 90 days.
- Your contact details (name, business, number, email) stay in my contact list as a normal business contact, like anyone I've met.
Reply STOP any time. Pepper deletes our chat straight away and won't message you again. I keep your number on a do-not-contact list so that it stays that way.
When she stays quiet
Once I take over a conversation, Pepper stops for good and I message you myself from my own number. If you've replied STOP, she never messages you again.
Who processes it
- Meta (WhatsApp): delivers the messages.
- Anthropic (Claude): the AI model that writes Pepper's replies. It doesn't use our chats to train its models.
- Supabase: the database where the chat and contact details are stored.
- Google: my calendar and Google Meet, for the booking and the invite.
- Cloudflare: runs this website and Pepper, and holds messages briefly while they're being answered.
- Slack: notifies me when a call is booked or a chat needs me (your name and business, not the conversation).
Some of these companies process data outside the UK, including in the US. Where they do, they're covered by the UK's adequacy regulations or standard data protection clauses.
This website
- Forms and the intro chat. If you fill in a form or use the chat on this site, I get what you type (usually your name, business, email and what you need) so I can reply. It's stored in Supabase, emailed to me through Resend, and I may get a Slack alert. The intro chat's replies are written by Claude (Anthropic).
- Bookings. Intro calls booked through /intro go into my Google Calendar.
- Payments. If you pay for a Bootcamp or project, Stripe takes the payment. I never see your card details.
- Analytics. Google Analytics counts visits so I can see which pages help. It uses cookies.
